How a vintage sorting factory works
Buyers ask us where the stock comes from and why factory prices are lower. Here is the whole process.
Where the clothes come from
Our stock comes from US collections. It arrives at our factory in Pakistan in bulk and is opened on the sorting floor every working day.
Sorting by brand and category
Our team pulls branded vintage and Y2K out of the mix and sorts it by brand (Ralph Lauren, The North Face, Carhartt, Levi's and so on) and category (fleece, puffers, hoodies, jeans, shorts). What doesn't fit a vintage line goes to our other export business.
Grading
Every piece is graded by hand: A ready to sell, B light wear, C needs work. Bundles are packed AB or ABC.
Bundling and filming
Pieces are packed into bundles or bales, photographed for the listing cover, and filmed so the buyer sees the actual pieces before paying.
Why factory prices are lower
A wholesaler buys from a factory like ours and adds a margin. Buying direct removes that margin, and because new stock is sorted every day, a line that sells out is usually back the same week.
What you can't do at a factory
You can't pick individual sizes or styles from a bundle; that is how the price stays at factory level. You can choose the brand, category, grade and quantity, and book a handpick video call to choose pieces live from the floor.
